About the Artists

Myles Loftin is a NYC-based photographer known for his explorations of identity and social issues. A Parsons School of Design graduate, Loftin's work challenges norms through projects like "Hooded", exploring Black culture, and “In “The Life, examining everyday Black queer life. His art has received global recognition, appearing in Vogue and The New York Times. Loftin advocates for diversity in the arts, mentoring aspiring artists and speaking on inclusion. Winner of the Getty Images bursary fund and Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, Loftin's impactful imagery sparks dialogue on race and representation, positioning him as a leading voice in contemporary photography and cultural discourse.

Cassandra Mayela Allen is a Venezuelan artist based in New York City whose multidisciplinary practice—encompassing mixed media, textiles, installation, and socially engaged projects— examines memory, belonging, active meditation, and labor as tools for self-healing. Rooted in the migrating body and the objects it carries, her work treats personal belongings as living archives: woven, stitched, and suspended, they become material records inseparable from the communal practices that generate them. Allen foregrounds collaboration and encounter, inviting alternative social networks to participate in the making and meaning of each piece. Her work activates art as a relational process rather than a fixed object, centering acts of making as a means of reaching a state of “flow”, reflection, and connection.

Kelly Luu is an art administrator and artist from Brooklyn, New York. With a deep love for printmaking, book arts, alternative photography, and fashion, you can find Kelly's work thoughtfully littered across the city and snuck into collections. Informally nicknamed "Zine Queen" by her peers, Kelly has taught zine classes all over New York, printed and distributed multiple publications, and curated a zine showcase, Zines as Dialogue, at Mishkin Gallery. You can currently find her Coney Island Zine Series at Wonder Gallery in the Coney Island History Project.  Kelly earned her B.S in Business Administration, Marketing with a minor in Studio Art and is pursuing her M.A in Art Administration at Baruch College. Previously, she was the Nagelberg Fellow at Mishkin Gallery. Now, Kelly is the Grants and Development Fellow at Center for Book Arts and the incoming Rockefeller Fellow at MoMA.
